I was a person who turned up my nose at people with any sort of physical disability

Then, I became a person with a physical disability, unable to walk for more than 5 minutes. Despite the changes in my life and lifestyle, I quickly learned that this new reality is not such a bad thing. God can turn any trial into a gift. To be honest, it was hard at first to accept this change in my life. But as time went on and my faith grew stronger,

I was able to see that there are many lessons to be learned from this place of pain

And I was hurt by others' prejudices too

This hurt from others affected my life, affecting my lifestyle. I would avoid people and didn't want to leave the house because I felt ugly and unwanted. But then after coming into the love of Christ my whole life changed.

God began healing me mentally, emotionally, spiritually, physically, socially, professionally... It was like He made a whole new person out of me - one that I liked much better! And it wasn't just me; it was our family as well!

Here's how God changed my heart

I grew up in a Christian family but my father abandoned us when I was six. As a teenager, I felt like life was just one terrible experience after another. But as I got older, God started to work on my heart.

He began to change me inside and out, teaching me new ways of thinking about life and how to lead it the way he wanted me to.

What this means for others

God loves you and wants to use your life for something amazing. But in order to do that, we have to give up our past lifestyles so God can mold us into His person. Are you ready? If not, here are some ways you can start now

Our lives are dependent on each other

In life, we depend on each other to do things for us. We rely on friends, family, the government, churches, or social organizations to take care of us. God does a lot for us, including caring for our needs without expecting anything in return.

God's mercy flows over our lives because he loved us enough to die for us. Our lifestyles are shaped by the grace that came through Jesus Christ and are received by faith.
